My Process
I approach photography with empathy, honesty, and a sense of play. The heartbeat behind my work is revealing subtle sensitivity within authentic human connection. I let the moment guide my art so the resulting imagery feels genuine and raw.
I work intuitively, allowing my work to stretch into more creative realms, achieving an almost painterly or cinematic mood. My background in graphic design plays into the way I instinctively shoot — from the framing of my composition to the editorial and documentary layers my work often takes on. The result is imagery that just 'feels right' and effortlessly evokes the natural chemistry, mood, and energy behind the moment.
My love for nostalgia and dedication to documenting the meaningful allows me to be sensitive, even anticipatory, of the moments in the moment.
My process is highly creative and exploratory. I am primarily a natural light photographer — I allow light to dance through each shot, and direct my sessions as the moment unfolds.
Stephanie is so great to work with and she made my husband and I feel so at ease-and my husband hates having his picture taken! Stephanie works absolute miracles! My husband does NOT like to be in front of a camera but wouldn’t ya know it, she made him have a blast with our engagement photos!! Common Questions
What services do you offer?
I offer photography and design services, specializing in weddings, portraiture, and editorial work. I also shoot engagements, elopements, family sessions, headshots, lifestyle, and fashion. I thrive on creative collaborations with brands and other artists.
HOW DO I BOOK YOU?
Email me. We'll confirm your date, discuss your vision, and I'll share some client gallery examples so you get a real sense of your final collection. A signed contract and 50% non-refundable deposit secures your date. We'll work out a payment schedule for the remainder from there.
Will you travel to me?
I'm based in Denver, Colorado, but I love to travel and will absolutely come to you. A travel fee applies for events over 60 miles or 2 hours from Denver.
WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY PHOTOS?
You'll receive a sneak peek gallery within 72 hours of your session. Your complete, fully edited collection is delivered via private digital gallery within 12 weeks. Rush delivery within 30 days is available for an additional fee.
WHAT ARE YOUR PAYMENT TERMS?
A non-refundable reservation deposit is due to secure your date. The remainder can be paid on a schedule we work out together.
WHAT IS YOUR RESCHEDULING/ CANCELLATION POLICY?
Full policies are outlined in your contract. If you reschedule, your deposit can be applied toward a new date. If you cancel outright, or a rescheduled date doesn't work, you may forfeit your deposit.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I LOSE MY FILES?
Download and back up your full collection as soon as you receive it. That's the best protection you have.
